DBabble remembers the chat rooms and forums you have recently visited, and lists them for you for quicker access in the future.
This is your list of subscribed discussions.
In a web browser, this list is found in your main-menu, which can be reached by selecting the Main Menu link at the top of the main window.
In windows, this list is found in the Discussions tab in the main window.
-
Adding Discussions
In order to add a new discussion to your list of subscribed discussions, just enter the chat room, or go to the forum.
It will be automatically added to your list of subscribed discussions.
-
Discussion Values
Each discussion listed in your subscribed discussions lists a number of values associated with the discussion.
Occasionally you may see values that have a question mark (?) after them.
This means that the values may not be correct because the discussion is hosted on another server that this server has not managed to contact recently.
-
Email
This option is only available for forums and not chat rooms.
If checked, any new articles posted to the discussion will be automatically be sent to you by email as long as you have specified a valid email address in your user setup.
In a web browser, you must click save changes after checking the email box before it will work.
-
Items
This is the number of articles/messages in the forum or chat room.
Old items may be deleted after a few days, so this value can go up and down over time.
-
New
This is the number of articles/messages in the forum or chat room that have been posted to it since you last visited it.
-
Users
This value only applies to chat rooms. It is the number of users who are currently in the chat room.
