Creating or Modifying a User Group
You can create a new user group by click on "Create A User Group" in the user groups window. To modify an existing user group, in a web browser, click on the user group name in your user group list, or in the Windows client, right click and choose "View Members and Details".
If you are the creator (or have been given permission by the creator) of the user group, you will be able to add and remove members of the user group. In a web browser, to remove members, check the "Delete" checkbox next to each member to be removed and click "Save Changes". In the windows client, to remove a member, highlight a member and press the "Delete" key.

Advanced Options
Normally, any created user groups you create are only personal user groups that only you can see and send to. If the administrator has allowed you to, you may be able to choose "Advanced Options". This allows you to make the user group visible to other users.
You can also choose to make all members of the user group who receive messages automatic contacts of each other. If this checkbox is on, then whenever a new user is added to the user group, all existing members are added to their contacts list and the new user is added to the contacts lists of all existing members.
For each member of the user group, you are able to choose from a list of options.
- Receives Messages - This specifies whether or not this member receives any messages sent to the user group
- Can Find - This specifies whether or not this user will be able to find this user group when they choose "Find a User Group".
- Can See - This specifies whether or not this member has this user group listed in their subscribed user groups. (You are only allowed to change this value for other users if the administrator has given you permission to)
- Can Send To - This specifies whether or not this member can send messages to this user group.
- Can Change Receives Messages - This specifies whether or not this member is able to change whether or not they receive messages sent to this user group.
- Can View Members - This specifies whether or not this member is able to see who else is a member of this user group.
- Can Remove Self - This specifies whether or not they can remove themself from the user group.
- Can Change User Group - This specifies whether or not they can make any changes they want to the user group, including adding/removing or changing other members.
